Walkthrough?

Hi all, I've been using Zygore guides for years but this is the first time I've been actually trying to use the gold guide. Specifically the Auction House functionality. I open the Sell tab, click scan, look for empty market/rising prices items to sell. Then I'll open the gold guide, click the Auctions tab and click the items with the most profit. But then, it seems like I don't really sell much. Then there's easy/expert level items in the Auctions tab. What does that mean?

One specific situation is around blues and greens. The guide says to sell them at thousands of gold, but they don't sell.

Is there maybe a walkthrough I've missed for how to use this guide effectively? If not, could we get one?

It sounds like you are working with gear and/or xmog items. You want to pay attention to the demand of an item. The lower the number pretty much equates to a lower chance to sell the item. The demand is our best guess at how many actually get sold each day. Xmog items are well know to be very slow to sell, with most xmog dealers only selling 1 or 2 of any given item per month.

If you're just starting off with the AH then you want to start with the left part (farming and gathering) of the gold guide first. The Auctions section is best for when you know the AH better for your server and are willing to take more risks with your gold. Flipping items like that has the biggest risk of loss because you are spending gold to make gold where the other sections you spend no (or little in the case of crafting) gold in order to make your gold.

As for something more tutorial-like, click on the question mark at the top right of the gold guide in game.

For reselling generally trade-goods sells fastest. If you can find good deals on recent herbs/ore/cloth/leather/enchant mats you can often sell them fast again at a good profit.
