Could you help me understand the differences between information shown for an item in the Auction Gold Guide, the Auction House, and the TSM add-on? Details below.
The Auction Gold Guide shows Riding Crop with the following information:
- Status: red
- Amt: 2
- Cost: 15000g 52s 00c
- Profit: 9263g 77s 40c
- Gain: 614%
The Riding Crop shows in the AH with a buyout price of 7500g 26s.
The TSM add-on (TSM AuctionDB) has the following information for the Riding Crop:
Min Buyout: 65,403g 29s
Market Value: 55,669g 93s 23c
Region Market Value Avg: 10,651g 11s 47c
Region Sale Avg: 4,924g 73s 28c
Region Sale Rate: 0.01
Region Avg Daily Sold: 0.01
Based on the potential profit and gain shown for this item by Auction Gold Guide, I would think I should buy the item and then turn around and relist it. Is data from TSM showing that I'd end up taking a loss? It seems like the item doesn't sell very frequently. Plus, if I bought the item off the AH at 7500g, I'd end up losing money having to sell it at the average price of 4,924g.
Any advice r recommendations you have are welcome, thanks!
