Issue
When the guide says 'go here' whatever zone you choose and 'The quest will automatically be selected'.What can happen is no quest is automatically selected. It doesnt work.
This has been reported elsewhere.
What the Threads of fate Zygor Guide misses out completely is to visit the Threads of fate Quest giver for the zone so for example 'Secutor Mevix' for Maldraxxus gives 'Rallying Maldraxus' Bastion is 'Bolstering Bastion' etc. these quest give the bar to fill for the zone by doing various activities.
When choosing Threads of fate levelling in the guide for the zone these main quest givers are not mentioned.
Example : Maldraxxus threads of fate levelling guide is chosen.
Zygor Step 1 = Talk to Slumbar valorum, make Theatre of Pain Inn your home
Zygor Step 2 = Accept 'Avoid them like the Plague' - You will accept this quest automatically.
Except you will NEVER accept step 2 automatically until you visit the area quest giver (Secutor Mevix). Just look on your map for a '?'
In Velendreth. Zygor is fine up to step 23 'Accept parasites of reality' (Reported elsewhere on the forum)-You will accept this quest automatically. Confirmed that the area quest is open but Zygor may have missed a pre requisite quest as this NEVER accepts automatically.
How I used the Guide which is probably wrong.
1. I chose Threads of fate in game and then went to the quest giver Tal-Inara and chose Revendreth as I didnt want to do bastion first like I did with my previos 2 chars following the story.
2. I selected Revendreth Threads of fate guide and started questing.
What I 'think' Zygor wants you to do is
1, Choose Threads of fate and then select the Guide ' Shadowlands intro and main story questline' (counter intuitive because of the name)
2. Right click the right arrow - where the step number is which auto puts you to the point in the quest line you should be at.
3. Select Bastion from Tal-Inara even though you may want to do another area first. And then it looks like the main quest givers are there in Zygor.
TIP: If you plan on running a few dungeons then go to each area after accepting the quest from Tal-Inara.Find the main quest giver for the area and pick up the area main quest, which puts a bar for the area on screen before you activate Zygor. This way when you do a dungeon 10% XP can be given to multiple zones.
