Step 1 is no longer needed, you no longer need to go back in time

In order for that zone to scale all the way up to level 50 you must align yourself with the Cataclysm time line. If you do not do that with Chromie then the zone will only scale up to level 30. This holds true for all of the EK and Kalimdor zones.
