You need at least 600 more monelite ore than the guide initially asks you to gather/buy.

How many combines did you have that did not result in a skill up? That is random and can't be accounted for. Also, did you make sure you were using the correct ranks of the different recipes and started with the 1249 ore?

It could be accounted for the extra crafts needed of course, but it just seems that the amount the guide originally asks for is still below what you will need once you get near 150 and start crafting the monel-hardened hoofplates.
