Stated to roll a new Tauren Priest so I can get the Horde perspective on the state of the game.

I am in Org and just loaded the leveling guide for Northern Barrens.

Now I know where the Northern Barrens is, I have been playing this game for a very long time.

So what does the guide tell me to do?

"Click the Portal to Undercity at the top of the tower."

I am thinking...why?

So I click it.

Find my self in Undercity with the guide telling me...

"Click the portal to Hellfire Peninsula."

So I click it and find myself in Hellfire Peninsula standing right next to a portal.

Guide tells me...

"Click the Portal to Org."

So I click it and then the guide tells me...

Go to Northern Barrens.

All I ask is why.

That might depend on where you were in Org. The travel system probably thought it was faster to use the portals to reach the front of Org than it would have been to run to the front of Org from wherever you were standing at the time.
