How do you level your Battle Pets?

So travel all over the world. Seems like a lot of work.

For leveling you just fight wild battle pets of an appropriate level to your battle pet team.

I am typing this as I got a number of new pets to help me rep grind for 8.2.

Now that I have them, how do I level them?

I looked for a guide, didn't find it. Am I missing this? Might be worth a guide. I have no idea what to do.
What are the best pet battles?

Do I just do pet battles?

Guess for now, ill check wowhead and youtube.
