Flightpath vs boat ride

The guide keeps wanting me to fly to Auberdine and then take the boat to Rutheran Village. Why can't I just fly directly there? I am a NE hunter and started out with the flightpath. The bug is also in reverse. The guide wants me to take the boat from Rutheran to Auberdine, then fly somewhere.

What settings do you have in the travel section of the guide viewer settings?

Use Hearthstones, Use Items and Use spells are all checked. Travel comfort preference is all the way to speed.

I believe the comfort slider might be what's doing it. If you swap that over all the way to comfort it should prefer flights.
