How do I turn off the Flight Master instructions after Level 60?

What if I just want to fly myself, can I turn off the Tom Tom instructions and do the waypoints myself?

A lot of the waypoints are built into the steps and can't be turned off. It should detect if you are flying and skip to the end waypoint for the step so that you can easily fly there.
