What is the OFFICIAL current zygor client version?

In the news section of the client I see
"Monday Oct 20th 2014 - world of warcraft guide update - version 4.0.10553"
yet in the current version and installed version section of the window I see both as "5.0.10928"

This is because you are using our old client that is no longer being maintained. Please update to the new Java based client. The one you are using will eventually stop working since we're not maintaining it as you can see by the News section no longer updating properly.

I had to install java for the client to work so I assume I am using the new one if not how do i check/update?

I’m sorry about that. When I posted the response I thought you were still using the old white client since you gave a News date that wasn’t current. The latest news went out just a few days ago and you posted about one that was older so it sounded to me like you had our old client that is having problems with displaying current news.


The most recent official release version will be listed on the client as the Latest Version number.

That's all well and good, just seems strange that no later version was announced after 4. something and I have 5. something...
Also I am now having problems getting the client to connect to the internet. I will try completely removing it and re-installing it through add/remove programs in windows 8.1 and post again if I'm still having trouble. Thanks.
Just been into add/remove programs and zygor isn't there! Maybe that's why its having issues, I'm assuming I should delete the zygor folder(s) within the add-ons folder for wow and try installing again? Or is it normal to not have zygor listed in the add/remove programs feature of windows?? I seem to remember it was there last time I checked but my short term memory is somewhat bad hence the purchase of this product in the first place. Some guidance please!!!
