Problem with new guide

Downloaded Loremaster but don't see it

OK I downladed the new upgrade but I don't see Loremaster on the Zygor screen.

Try using the Repair button on the Zygor Updater.

I'm having the same problem on my Macbook Pro. The updater downloads, and gets to the Mac admin login, then dies without seeming to do anything. Then the updater doesn't seem to recognize any installation at all. Tried clean install, tried repair, no joy. Manual install seems to work. Also since updating I've had a full WoW client crash (to desktop) about 8 times.

MBP -Snow Leopard
4Gb DDR3
nVidia GT 330M (512Mb)

Are you sure it's not doing anything? After you enter the admin password it takes less than a second to install on mine and can give you the impression that it hasn't done anything. The fact that it says "none" for the version and offers to install the guide again adds to the confusion.

If you look in /Applications/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons you'll most likely see that it has in fact been updated.

It is updated and the guide works. It is just a bug in the updater that it won't show the current version.

Some people with Macs that have had problems with the Updater have reported that they can do a manual install to get it installed properly. If all else fails, please try a manual install.

That is a known bug that is affecting everyone. Rest assured that the team are trying to get it fixed. Luckily as you say it's a very minor thing as the guides will still be updated, just the updater doesn't show it.
