I have mentioned this before, and nothing seems to be done about it.
The Zygor Guides Viewer has had problems with its options for a very long time. Each new release seems to bring with it another broken option. It has come to the point where there are really very few real options, because the developers have in their collective mind "one true way to use the viewer."
The developers, and evidently the managers, seem to have the same mind set, since nothing ever seems to happen toward fixing them.
The most recent broken option for me is the one that deals with displaying icons on the steps. I noticed that said icons are displayed through any WoW window that is supposed to be on top of the viewer window. Turning off the icon option only gets rid of the space that follows the icon, causing garbled display of the first character or two of the text. And the icons still bleed through overlaid windows, such as quest text.
These kinds of sloppy coding and lackluster management reduce customer satisfaction and trust. I no longer recommend Zygor Guides to people. And will continue until Zygor adopts a new policy, if ever.
BTW, turning off the icons also turns off the use of colors for the steps. Why are these linked?
