Updater won't work

I'm trying to install the guides using the updater, but everytime I click update it simply goes blank for a second and then returns to normal and the guide doen't install/update.

I double checked the login info and AddOn and Launcher location. I also tried to run it as administrator. Nothing worked.....

Do you use Bitdefender? If so you have to completely deactivate it for the updater to work. Don't know why only Bitdefender has such problems.
