He's already said that for current users there will be a one time upgrade fee if we wish to upgrade our currently owned guides for future expac's. No subbing required unless you want the new guides, which in all honesty only contain information already found freely on other websites.
As long as this promise is kept, i don't see a problem

Every single thing in ZG can be found on other websites freely. The guides bring it ingame in an easy and professional manner.

I've tried profession guides on WoWPedia and others and a lot of them are very hard to follow, esp if you have to alt tab out. I've also tried web based leveling guides. Again not as easy or professional as Zygor's stuff.

If they can keep up content flow so that i dont go a month without getting something (Even if it's just eye candy), then i might be willing to sub. It's a lot cheaper then buying all 6 of the new guides outright.

You will continue receiving updates to the products you've
already purchased before the introduction of subscriptions.
When an expansion is released, we will still offer the option
to Upgrade your products (whichever you purchased before
subscriptions) with a one-time fee. You will also be able to
upgrade your products by simply becoming a subscriber.

Also, even if you do adopt the subscription and then cancel,
you will still have access to the products you purchased prior
to the subscription switch (with updates up until an expansion).
However, upon cancelling, any of the new products within the
subscription would be removed.

On the topic of Updates/Upgrades. It has always been our policy
that an extra Upgrade fee be required to upgrade your products
to the newest World of Warcraft expansion. This has been our
policy since Zygor came to exist about 5 years ago.

Buying the add-ons to me is fine. I just wished the longer you been with them they give you a discount. Still, if you know what you are doing online you can get a discount on anything :P
