Hello, Just bought the rep package and tried to start earning rep with golden lotus...cannot accept quest for first step, wont give me quest...how do you get friendly with golden lotus? shouldn't this be part of guide?

You need to have a certain rep in order to start dailies in MoP. I think you need to be at least friendly, which you can do by following the Pandaria levelling guide."There will always be a derelict building. Moments come and go - explore them while you can" -

Step 2 of the Golden Lotus rep guide should be talk to Xari the Kind and accept "The Shrine of Seven Stars". Are you saying you cannot accept this quest?Zygor Guides Creative DirectorComment
