Sha'tar rep guide help

I am currently about halfway through the sha'tar rep guide and my rep hasnt gone above 5036/6000 in a decent bit of quests am i doing something wrong

Have you tried to exit WoW and then log back in just to make sure it's not some kind of visual bug? Also, are you doing the turn ins with the signets/marks?

i am currently on step 85/132 and havent got rep from the quest the guide showed in at least 20 steps i have tried restarting my game and still nothing

Hmm, maybe there's some kind of cap on the rep you can earn with the quests being done. If you're level 90 try running the Tempest Keep: Botanica instance to see if that moves the rep. If that doesn't move it then your character is bugged for whatever reason because you can run that instance for rep all the way up to exalted.
