Reputations guide: Honor Hold guide-Step 114 "Additional Materials"

I talked to "Dealer Najeeb" (in Stormspire) and I bought the (1)Adamantite Frame (which disappeared from his list after I bought the one required). But, he doesn't sell any Heavy Knothide Leathers(4ea) and they weren't on the list. Neither does the guide mention where to buy them, or from whom, yet the guide says "Make sure you have everything on this list." The next step says to turn this quest in, but I can't turn it in since it's incomplete.

Yeah, he wouldn't have any (and neither would any other merchant) since those are a Leatherworking profession item. I'll let the team know to add a step to send you to the AH to purchase them.

Thanks! I've already gone to the AH, but there's none there either. LOL
-- Since then, I have moved on in the guides, but am having problems accepting other quests. I'm not sure if it's related to completing that one quest, or not. I don't understand why I'm the only person to have encountered this after these many years. This is a relatively much older quest-line. Seems like 'somebody' should have noticed. If they did, maybe they didn't inform you of it? Oh, well.

Hopefully, the team will insert that AH purchase comment while users are questing somewhere actually near an AH, instead of at the last minute in the quest. A note telling users to KEEP it for use in quest step #114 would be nice.

I don't remember anyone reporting anything wrong in the Honor Hold rep guide so I'm guessing if anyone did see this they just automatically hit up the AH and never said anything about it.

Can you give us the name or a step where this happened?
There are severaly reasons why something like this can happen. The quests my be related to some other reputation and you only run into the problem when you skipped certain quests or zones before while other players did those quests or zones and never had the trouble you are experiencing.
It's not easy to reproduce such issues because you cannot roll back a character. If you want to test something from scratch you need a fresh character of the appropriate level.

If you had the problem with the quest "Tear of the Earthmother" at step 116 (from the guy in Terokkar), he offers 2 dungeon quests. As mentioned in step 116 you need to complete those dungeons to go on with the reputaitons guide.

However the Honor Hold guide can be improved by putting in an accept step for those quests and then loading the dungeon guides.

I don't have the 'Dungeons and Gear Guides' (except the default trial version) and probably won't purchase it. Do users have to have it in order for their current Leveling guides and Achievements/Reputations guides to function without a hitch, or not?

You can do those dungeons however you want if you don't have the Dungeon guides. The Dungeon guides aren't required for you to use the reputation guide, just there will not be any steps to walk you thru the dungeon without the Dungeon guides.

However I suggest putting in an accept step for those two quests, at least steps to complete these quests in the two dungeons and a turnin step.
For the quests in Hellfire Ramparts and Blood Furnace are steps included in the Honor Hold reputation guide.
You don't need to include steps for all the dungeon quests there only waypoints for those two quest objectives so that the travel system will take you to the dungeon and you don't get lost there (though the BC dungeons are very linear).

Edit: I'd also suggest putting in steps that lead you to the dungeons for the reputation grind at the end for those who don't want to do the PvP daily. Since not everyone has the dungeon guides and finding the correct entrances in Hellfire Peninsula is a pain.
