Error when trying to load addon: "Lua event handler has exceeded...."

Hi i have just purchased the guide and loaded up the game, when i get into game it comes up addon error:

This has been improved as of version 1.0.9879, but apparently the problem still persists for some. Try to /reloadui a few times - it's a hit and miss, sadly. The reason is that sometimes the game takes a bit longer to load something, and any addon can be "blamed" for that, even if it were textures or models being loaded so slowly. We're trying to resolve the issue.

Thanks. These are all the same error actually. It's essentially a timeout as the "lua event handler" has exceeded the normal amount of time it should take to load. Everytime we have seen this issue it has been a hiccup with WildStar itself and it was resolved with /reloadui. We haven't been able to reproduce it where it just keeps happening, but this is the top issue we're looking into right now. I will let you know as soon as we have anything to report.

Seems like on slower machines, or on slower hard drives, or on SOMETHING slower the guides take longer to load than the game allows in one pass. We're investigating and will fix it ASAP.

However, it depends on the overall performance of your machines at that moment, so a few reloads and reducing memory usage by killing some other programs might help - temporarily.

That error message is incomplete. You should see the main error in one of the first lines. If it is" Lua event handler has exceeded 2XXX ms." then you're getting the timeout message. This is usually resolved with /reloadui but on slower machines you may try to free up your system resources by closing any background applications. We're still investigating the issue though to see if we can optimize things on our end.
