[RESOLVED] Have yet to get guide to even show in game

Spent all morning reinstalling uninstalling. Latest try went back to old version of updater/client, it prompts me to upgrade client. Click download and get error saying "Bad File Data". In earlier attempts with new version of client (when it did complete installation) zygor updater 5 showed in addons listing and was activated but in game I have no zygor window nor anyway to turn it on. Very frustrated

Sounds like settings in the client are not right. Open up your battle.net launcher and click on Options (just below the WoW logo) and then select Game Settings. Now on the new window that opens up click on Game Install/Update on the left and let me know what it shows for the WoW folder setting (not the default install directory setting, I need the folder used for game play).

Have you tried disabling all other addons?

yes, one thing has me wondering though, if I launch the old client/updater and try to update from that I get Bad Data file error. But if I DL a fresh copy of the client/updater it installs fine. just no guides/settings/etc while in game. Did check to make sure load out of date addons was checked and it is along with the zygor viewer 5 enabled as well.

Can you post a pic of your new client when it's showing the owned products.. main window?

hmm, well after the last install I completely restarted everything (even pc which I had not done). Now it works. ugh so frustrated, Thank you for your quick response/assistance. Great work by the way, been using the guides for a long time now and love them.
