"Auto-equip" doesn't work anymore?

We are looking into this. It could be related to the gear suggestion bugs that we are fighting.

Update: As of patch 5.0.11064, the dungeon guides are working again. Zoning into a new dungeon prompts me to use the Zygor guide. This is great news!

The only things not working now are all related to the gear system. The quest reward selection still doesn't work, as well as auto-equip best gear does not work.

Just wanted to add that I also have the same issues with the gear system. It's not auto selecting quest items and isn't auto equipping items, even though I have all four options ticked in the settings.

This worked for me earlier in the week, but since has stopped working.

Glad to see the team are working on a fix that could be related to these gearing issues. Looking forward to the potential fix.

Just hit level 85 and Zygor is now "working as intended" on all fronts. What changed? Did Zygor get "lost" during the Cataclysm content then find itself again the moment I hit the Mists of Pandaria? All auto-equip is working, as well as quest turn-in selections. I don't know what changed, other than my level. But everything seems to have worked itself out of me.

I've pretty much been in dungeons since level 15, but I hadn't experienced these problems until I hit level 70. From 70 to 80, it's as if Zygor shut down completely in regards to all gear related functions. Last night, the dungeon guide problem, where it wouldn't suggest the guide to me when I entered dungeon's was suddenly fixed but the gear related issues remained.

Then I hit level 85 and started equipping gear that I had bought in advance, and Zygor suddenly woke up and started suggesting gear to me again. A pleasant surprise indeed. And all day today all of my quest turn-in's have gone off without a hitch.

Really can't explain what changed other than my level.

I think you may have found the key. All my high level toons auto-equip gear correctly. But the ones under 85 don't seem auto-equip at all.

Edit: Well, I tried some more characters out and some of them work well. It seems my Monk is the only one that I can not get the gear system to work with. I have leveled 1-62 in the last week an never once has the gear system worked. It won't suggest gear from rewards or equip it.

I have two low level toons, one Draeni and one Human, and it also won't suggest gear from rewards or equip it.
