pet guide stopped loading right after installation of new guide

zygor guides client - v3.0.181

tried reinstalling client, no dice
the guide opens the pet journal, not the actual guide.
mount guide opens fine and levling guides too. Didn't check anything else

It opening the Pet Journal is the intended behavior. We open the Pet Journal so you can look at all of the different pets and see them, then all you need to do is click the Z icon beside the name of the pet you want to see the guide for.

I was referring to the 'Battle Pet Questline' . After installing the last upgrade Version: 5.0.11905, the one I had open errored out and closed the guide window.
Was able to catch this error (not sure if it's related):
...erface\AddOns\ZygorGuidesViewer\CreatureDetecto r.lua:34: Attempting to add a none guide, or a guide in an extra table.

Doing a search for 'Battle Pet Questline' finds it and can be loaded (accepted), but when 'open the folder' in the guide, where it is supposed to be located ('Pets and Mounts'), it only pulls up the Pet Journal and doesn't show the quest. Looks to me like it got moved to another folder somewhere.

Hope this makes it clearer, heheh.

p.s. Version: 5.0.11908 does it too

Ahh, ok. I see what you mean. I'll talk to the team to see about moving them around to have them easier to find.

The Questline is still there but some links might be messed up. And it seems to me it should be under 'Pets and Mounts > Pets'. Which is empty and just pulls up the journal.

Im having problems after this last update as well. Some things are acting goofey, and the pet battle dailies are gone from the menu.

Please use the search box in the top right to find those pet battle quests. We have to look into either moving them out of the Pets section and into their own section (since now the Pets section will open the pet journal for you to pick the guide from in there) or we have to change how the Pets section works again.

It took what? Six months to get the Draenor Pet Masters into the guide? And even then you guys did it without telling anyone. I found out it was finally done by accident. It wasnt even put into the Pet Battle Dallies section. Now you've basically done away with our Pet Battle section altogether. And for what purpose? Now we cant just go there and click the guide we need, we have to do a word search for the dallies we want? If thats such a great idea, why not do away with the menu altogether and just have a word search for ALL the guides? What a great idea!!! Thats stupid. Why even have a section marked Pet Battles if its not going to have any info in it? Hell I can click the pet journal on my own without a link to it in your guide. Thats useless and cheap.

I think you may have misunderstood what I had said. The search for the guide is a temporary thing. The battle pet guides will be getting put into their own section instead of in the Pets section because the Pets section now takes you straight to your Pet Journal so you can see what pet you want to load the guide for.

You can find the Battle Pets Dailies guide in the Dailies section, to load the guide without having to search for it using the search box. Hope that helps, but if we're misunderstanding, let us know and we'll see what we can do. Thanks.

The only Pet Dallies I see in the Daly section are the WoD ones under the WoD Daily section. I see none of the rest.

He thought you were still looking for the WoD battle pet dailies. With the update that was released yesterday you should find all of those other battle pet guides in the Pets & Mounts Guide > Battle Pet Quests section.
