How does the sync work ?

So ive been having zygor for about a week now and i wondered how the sync worked

even tho my server are in sync i still have to scan the auction house ?


Maby anyone can Clarify how this actually are suppost to work ?

The Gold guide uses 2 sets of data. The first set of data is the historical data that you download via the desktop client. The historical data is running 30 day averages of the items with some different statistical math done to the data to make sure there's nothing really odd with the numbers from people posting really high or really low. The other set of data is the current market prices that you get when you are in game by scanning the AH. The guide then uses the 2 sets of data to make comparisons to see if what is on the AH is actually a good price compared to the historical value and then gives you suggestions based on that.
