Quest Arrow Not Working

I haven't played WoW in a while (5 or 6 months at least) and went to play today to test it out on a new 3440x1440 monitor, and the quest arrow doesn't seem to be working.

It mostly points to my current location (straight down) without showing a distance, but will occasionally jump to point to the correct location (including distance).

I don't remember having this issue ever before, but since I haven't played in a while, I wasn't sure if it was related to the current version of the game or Zygor guides, or if it was some kind of bug related to the resolution I'm running the game at now (which doesn't seem logical, but then again, I don't know how the quest arrow works, either).

Thoughts?

Try typing /re into the chat window to reload the UI.

I did try that and while it does make the arrow work afterward, the arrow only lasts for a while and then disappears altogether.

I also tried disabling / re-enabling the waypoint arrow within the Zygor menu but that doesn't bring it back.

Doing /re after it disappears shows it initializing the map but then it disappears again.

The arrow seems to come back on its own after the requirements of the current quest are met.

What was the guide and step number for when the arrow disappeared? Do you remember what the step text said?

Happening to me as well, it is not a specific quest though. Just non stop.

Was your problem the arrow just stuck pointing down or was it that it was disappearing?
