That means you are either doing the reinstall wrong or it's installing to the wrong location. What does the guide selection window display in the lower left corner for the version number?

That is the version of the desktop client. The guide selection window is what you see in game when you click on the orange down arrow on the guide viewer.

My guides are empty and I am getting a string of LUA errors. I removed zygor and reinstalled fresh. My version is 3.1.107

I've deleted the WTF and cache folders as well but I still get the same error message and the only addons I have installed besides Zygor guides is Spartan UI and Bartender 4. I can't even load any of the addons as it comes up blank to me, what could be causing this problem and I do have the latest version of the guides installed.

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.


1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the installer client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game and see if that fixed it
