Did you try doing a full guide wipe/reset? That's a bit different than just hitting the Reinstall option on the desktop client.

1. Exit WoW
2. Go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. Go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. Run the installer client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. Go back in game and see if that fixed it

Yes - all of these have been done as well. I have also uninstalled the actual zygor program itself and downloaded the latest from the website to run the install.

Try this to see if it affects it at all.

1. exit the game
2. go to your WoW/Cache folder and delete everything in there
3. go to your WoW folder and rename your Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
4. run the Zygor desktop client and click the refresh icon at the top right
4a. if the current version number changes to none then click the Install button >> go to step 5
4b. if the current version number does not change let us know >> stop
5. go in game to see if there was any effect on the error

So none of the above worked for me. I ended up just going to the website and manually downloading the zip file by itself and installing it. I believe there may be an issue with the updater that isnt updating the most recent guide. Not sure, but at least it is working now.
