Stuck on step 177 (Legion Intro... guide) - In the Blink of an Eye

Alliance, Shadow priest. I started the pre-Legion events but didn't finish. I have no quests active other than some unrelated quests (pets and such). I cannot accept the "In the Blink of an Eye" quest as the servant doesn't show up (I'm in SW).

What shall I do?

Please load the Legion Intro & Artifacts guide in the Leveling section of the guide selection window in game and follow that from step 1.

I've done that a few times. It starts at 1 and jumps to 146..greens (completed) until this step...177.

You don't have a big pink voidwalker spawn next to you? Have you tried logging out and back in? What quests are listed in your quest log?

I do not have a voidwalker spawn anywhere near me. When I initially logged in today, I was in my garrison and the void was there with a different quest (I don't recall which one and I've since abandoned it). I went back to my garrison just now and the voidwalker is not there. I have logged out and in several times.

I only have three quests in mylog:
1) Ironforge/Numismatics
2) Battle Pets/Battle Pet Tamers: Warlords
3) Battle Pets/Taralune

That is a very good question. I think I did the first two weeks of the pre-events (quests) and participated in a few of the invasions (dun murough). Not very much.

Did you do the broken shores scenario where you got to see the cinematic at the end showing the king die? <oh.. spoiler alert > Then after that you came back to SW and did a quest to kill demons disguised as guards in the castle?

I think so, yes.

Check step 175 to make sure that you did the Illidari Allies quest. If you did and the pink voidwalker is not showing up you may need to submit a GM ticket. One other thing you can try is to disable every addon (including Zygor) and log out and back in to see if the pink voidwalker will spawn after a moment or two.

Okay, now this is funny. I log in this morning (i'm at my garrison which I was NOT when I logged off. I was in SW). Anyway the voidwalker was there and offered the quest. I think Blizzard found the error and made the adjustment.
