Pawn vs Zygor

hello,

I take a stat prioryty from noxic for MM hunter:
Mastery [9.04] > Agility [7.54] > Haste [6.04] > Crit [4.54] > Versatility [3.04]

I set it to zygor guide and to Pawn.

For item1:
Finger 840 ilvl
+977 stamina
+707 versality
+1061 Mastery
Pawn score 11740.7 points

For item2:
Finger 855ilvl
+1147 Stamina
+748 Critical Strike
+1123 Versality
Pawn score 6809.8 ponits

in Zygor it looks like:
-1061 Mastery
+416 Versality
+748 Critical Strike
+150 Stamina

Zygor says item2 is better but pawn says item1. Who i should lissen ? what program calculate correct ?

When you have the gear suggestion pop up on the screen you can Shift + Click on the Decline button to get a small bug report that shows the score breakdown for both items. Going by the numbers you have listed this is what the breakdown on the items should be and the score totals.

For item1:
Finger 840 ilvl
+977 stamina = 0
+707 versality = 2149.28
+1061 Mastery = 9591.44
Total Score = 11740.72


For item2:
Finger 855ilvl
+1147 Stamina = 0
+748 Critical Strike = 3395.92
+1123 Versality = 3413.92
Total Score = 6809.84

These match the results you are seeing from Pawn. I would guess that the guide viewer is not using the same values like you think and that would be why the suggestions are different. The guide viewer should be using the default scores for an MM hunter (if not using your changed scores) and those are as follows:
Agility (9.03) > Mastery (7.53) > Haste (6.03) > Versatility (4.53) > Crit (3.03)

Using those numbers the scores for the items would be more like this:

For item1:
Finger 840 ilvl
+977 stamina = 0
+707 versality = 3202.71
+1061 Mastery = 7989.33
Total Score = 11192.04


For item2:
Finger 855ilvl
+1147 Stamina = 0
+748 Critical Strike = 2266.44
+1123 Versality = 5087.19
Total Score = 7353.63


While the numbers are slightly lower both Pawn and Zygor should both be suggesting the same item as being correct. Without seeing that bug report for what scores Zygor is using there is no way to know exactly why it's recommending the 2nd item.

be sure u write Agility = 7.54

if u type 7,54 that wont work.

Since you're using Noxxic numbers an even easier way to make sure is to just use the Pawn import string in the gear system settings.

I think what they meant was that you can go to Zygor's options (Escape -> Interface -> Addons -> Zygor Guides Viewer -> Gear Suggestions) and use the import/export window (scroll to the bottom) to paste in a pawn string. The export also produces a pawn string, if you desire.

yes i have done it today but zygor dont change paramets correctly

i prefer change it manual, sory but in 7.1 i dont trust zygor in everything ;( he looks like broken

Zygor explained to me in a previous thread (too lazy to look for it) that the stat weights used by Zygor are for leveling and soloing. You probably are looking at Pawn strings for raiding, and the stat weights will be different.

That is exactly how Pawn scores the items also, X*Y. The only difference is the stat weights that are used in each system. The stat weights that you get from Noxxic are for end game dungeons and raids to maximize your dps. The stat weights that we use as default in the gear system are for solo leveling.

That 5000+9000=8000 is because of the multiplier (MULTIPLER 0.5). Since it's leather armor it is not ideal for your class and only gets half of the score. So if you add up the Haste, Mastery, and Agility (1715.7, 5354.2, and 9191.4) that is a total of 16261.3 but you then need to multiply that by the multipler (spelled wrong) of 0.5 which gives a total of 8130.65.
