Bug in Battlegrounds

This constantly errored every 10 seconds or so in a strand of the ancients battleground.

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset to see if this affects the error at all.


1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

Yup, still get the error in bgs and instances after following all those steps.

Hmm, lets do some testing to see if there are any corrupted files anywhere. Try this for a test.


1. Exit the game
2. Go to your WoW/Cache folder and delete everything in there
3. Go to your WoW folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click the refresh button in the top right, and then click on the Install button
5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it


Renaming the folders will give you a 'clean' game install but also allow you to put all of your addons and settings back in place easily if it has no effect on the problem.

It is an addon problem, nearly every addon has had issues for a couple of days. Every addon that has been updated no longer errors from my testing (I do an elvui config). To replicate it, just join any bg or arena, happens in some dungeons as well and randomly in the world rarely.

Yeah, we're checking into it. I was able to replicate it with walking into the Stockade dungeon in SW.
