What is up with Zygors navigation?!

We've released a couple of updates today that should hopefully fix the travel issues. Try making sure you have the latest version of guides (6.1.15652) and see if you're still seeing problems.

Hi,

I am having a similar issue. My navigation system is ignoring all flight paths.This seems to be true for all content including dailies. I've deleted the variables, and revisited the flight master ,etc. I reset to defaults. I did notice the last few times I opened the options that the use travel system check box was unchecked. I've rechecked it again (a few times). It seems to stay checked - at least while the game is running. This all started with 7.2.

Have you tested with all other addons disabled?

Yes. I just tested with everything else disabled. When I reload the UI the use travel system link un-checks. I re-check it and it doesn't seem to make a difference. a subsequent /reload will cause it to un-check again. I noticed that it does actually place the bread crumbs on the map from the distant flight path. However, the directions no longer point to the travel system but go direct to the destination.

UPDATE: A complete delete of the addon and re-install seems to have resolved the issues. Hopefully all good now! thx

I am not only having this issue, but the world quests on Broken Isle do not show up at all - I click on them and nothing - nada - frustrating!

Not all of the new world quests will be in the guide because we haven't seen all of the new ones yet to add them to the guide. Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/WTF/Account/<accountname>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

I also have the same issue regarding poor navigation, but this time it prefers me to use FP's.

Here's an example of my issue:

I am 412kms south of my destination. However, the guide wants me to take the flight path at Greywatch, 226m Sth East of my current spot, then fly 666m Nth West to Valdisdall, from there I will need to run 447kms Nth East to reach my destination.

I can bypass all that by running 412kms Nth East to my destination, cutting out the unneccessary flight paths and using my time more efficiently.

I have done the usual troubleshooting: Cleared cache, uninstalled, disabled all other addons etc. but to no avail.

What are your Navigation settings for the guide viewer?

The next time you see an odd route suggestion like above right click on the arrow and select re-check route. If that does not change anything open the About section of the guide viewer settings, click on the "Create a bug report" button, then on the new window that opens up click on the View button. In that text window that opens if you scroll down you will see a section for Flight Paths and for Travel Route. Please post up those 2 sections.
