Gold and Auctions Data

Hey Guys and Gals,

So i've been steadily using the zygor windows app to update my auction data, and i've checked under preferences and it has the correct realms, but when I go in game and talk to an auctioneer it's showing "LAST UPDATED: 6 Days ago - Speak with ...."

I've made sure I exited the game entirely before I ran the auction data update, so shouldn't be a file locking issue.

Talk to an auctioneer, open the Sell tab, wait for the automatic Appraise All scan to finish, and then click on the Scan button. That message is telling you that the last time you scanned the AH to get the current prices was 6 days ago.

But if i'm downloading auction data from the app, why would I need to scan the AH?

The desktop client downloads a file that contains average prices for the last 30 days. It does not contain the current prices in the download. So for the gold guide to know what the current prices are to compare to the average prices you need to do a quick scan of the AH.
