Getting very strange gear suggestions

On my 110 ilvl 927 Ret Paladin
Zygor insisted that I exchange my 934 Ashbringer artifact weapon (2 hand sword)

• 2979 Strength
• 4468 Stamina
• 954 Critical Strike
• 916 Mastery
• Equip: Grants you the wake of Ashes ability

with
Blue item Praetor's Ornamental Warblade ilvl 880

• 1801 Strength
• 2702 Stamina
• 591 Critical Strike
• 942 Versatility

And it kept on insisting.
I turned off the gear advisor and figured I won't be using it any more.
Strangely enough... and I don't know anything about this... I had my artifact weapon mogged to a very low item level axe. When I removed the transmog, the gear advisor didn't insist on making the swap any more. Or maybe just turning off the advisor and turning it back on helped. Dunno. That's all the troubleshooting I could do. Hope this helps.

If you can try mogging it to a lower level item again to see if the gear system acts up again. If it does when the pop up shows up for the swap you can Ctrl + Click (or Shift + Click, can't remember which of those 2 off the top of my head right now) on the Decline button to bring up a gear system specific bug report. Could you then copy/paste that bug report here so we can look at it?

There may be a problem with WoW.
For example, I use the askmrrobot addon. It reads your gear and then has a web page you can import your gear to.
When I do the import, Ashbringer (my weapon) comes up as ilvl 750 on askmrrobot when the ilvl is actually 934.
So that's interesting because Zygor must have also read Ashbringer as ilvl 750 and wanted me to upgrade to the 880 ilvl item.

If I do a battle.net armory import into askmrrobot, ashbringer reads as the correct level.

So it's not just zygor, it's askmrrobot too.

OMG. Just checked. PAWN does it too, reading ashbringer as 750 instead of 934 and the other sword as 880.

Something's going on with the artifact weapon data in wow itself. It's not Zygor.

We'll see about putting something into the code to not suggest replacing the artifact until they become useless with the next expansion. The only downfall to that would be a spec change might not suggest the proper artifact.

It's because you're not updating your gear stat weights in Zygor. Click the Gear to go into Settings. Click Item Scoring. and you'll see the stats Zygor uses. The numbers are really. I think as you get higher gear it's not updating the weights properly. Zygor really needs a way to optimize those weights automagically
