What happened to the different looking waypoint arrows?

There used to be several different looking waypoint arrows to chose from and now i dont see the option to change it anymore... Did bliz force everyone to use the same arrow now?

We removed those options long ago when we changed around the settings and did the new look to the guide viewer.

Any plans to add some options back to it int he future? Love the guide viewer but hate the look of this particular arrow, also a transparency slider would be nice.

I am not aware of any plans to add the different arrow styles back.

I have two accounts. (Same computer) On one, the guide arrow is just a plain arrow. On the other it is the slightly larger arrow with the "spinning wheel" at the bottom centre that helps get a more precise direction. Is there a way to get the "plain" arrow to be the arrow with the precision wheel?

That arrow with the gear at the bottom is outdated and can cause errors. It does not work properly with the travel system. That is why there are no longer arrow choices.
