Quest Log Cleanup log file

I thought the purpose of this feature was to clear up the marching ants that sometimes get stuck on the map. Instead, what it did was delete ALL my quests except the one I was on.

I had around 20 I was tracking and progressively working on that have been wiped out (including the progress). As much as that stings, that's not the issue. This primary problem is that I do not remember what the 20 quests were. Is there a way to find out via a log file and if not, could you PLEASE create one so that recovery is possible?

So far this is the one "feature" of the guide that I hate. It's way too destructive in its current form.

The quest log cleanup has always abandoned any quests in your log that are not part of the currently loaded guide. To the best of my knowledge there is no way to know what quests were abandoned after the fact. The only one that might be able to look at some kind of log file would be a GM and I'm not sure if they will do that.

Sorry this happened to you, but just for future reference, we do take precautions to warn you that you will be abandoning quests.

First, in the tooltip when you hover over the Quest Log Cleanup button on the guide viewer:

Secondly, in the popup that displays after you click the button:

I'm not sure what else we could do to make it clear that you will be abandoning quests?

Sadly, no log is kept of the quests removed. You could load up some previously opened guides and scroll through them, to see if anything shows up incomplete.

However, what map ant dots are getting stuck for you? It's not a bug known to us. Can you elaborate?
