BFA Guide release

Will the guides update as soon as BFA launches? Or maybe even sooner?

There's always some ungrateful punk-ass kids who always have to bitch and complain about everything. The WOW forums are full of guys like YOU bitching about one thing or another. I'm sure you'll be mother F-ing Blizz on launch day when the DDOS attacks happen because you know they will.

I remember back in WOD (?) when there was a major glitch in the guides and these Zygor people worked around the clock to push out a fix.

I've previously always done a one time purchase of the guides, I see there is now a subscription service. Will there be a one time purchase of the BfA guide like there was for previous expansions and if so, when will be able to make that purchase? I see the Silithus quest guide in the update today but nothing else beyond that. Thanks in advance.

We stopped offering the individual purchases back on Mar. 1st. The only way to obtain guides from now on is with the subscription.

I just purchased the elite sub, and no BFA guides as of yet.

BfA guides were released Friday. Run the desktop client, click the refresh icon at the top right, then use the wrench icon near the bottom right to reinstall the guides.

Where at? I just updated again about an hour ago, (updated last night) and still nothing as of yet. Just the intro quest to get to the new world, no bfa quest whatsoever

They are in the Leveling > Battle for Azeroth (110-120) section. If you do not see that section exit the game, run the desktop client, make sure the username at the top right is the one with an active subscription (tylerg0128), click the refresh icon beside your username, then use the wrench icon to do a reinstall.

It updated the guide but now I keep getting an internal error within the client updater. Error message: 500

You can close the client for now. We've had to temporarily shut down the hourly scan data to relieve stress on our server and that is probably what is causing the 500 you see since it can't get that data.

That's what I thought it was. It was saying the guide version was updated just needed to update auction house information. Thanks for the help!
