Started a new profession at level 110

I wanted to change professions on my 110 Deathnight. I unlearned what was there and then selected
mining in Zygor. It took me to Pandoria where I got trained. I farmed in Jade until I reached 45 where I got no more experience and then smelted till I reached 50 and again the experience stopped.
The guide does not tell me where to go to continue farming that will increase my experience. I went back to the Jade area but only got 1 more in experience and farmed 20 more iron without an increase.

Why does zygor not tell me where to go to continue my mining experience? HELP!

The entire Professions leveling experience has changed in the game and the guides will not be updated for that until after BfA is released. They have to have a complete re-write to every profession guide.

You don't need to level up gathering professions anymore. In the past you needed a certain mining skill level to gather higher level ores. That is not necessary.
You might need to visit a professions trainer at certain points (75, 150, 225 and so on) to be able to raise the skill further. To find a preofessions trainer klick the binocular icon in the top left or lower left corner of the guide window. Rightclick the waypoint or waypoint arrow afterwards to remove the waypoint.
I suggest you load the Legion mining quest guide. That way you get farming routes shown and do the mining quests to be able to gather more ore from each deposit.
