BfA "Intro and Quest Zone" Choice questions

Hey guys, I'm not sure but I believe step 88 (In SIlithus, Nolan Speed, Accept Free Samples) through step 106 are not required for BfA, correct? In the beta, you get the quest to go directly to Magni from Stormwind to get the Heart of Azeroth.

Are these indeed optional? If so, probably a good idea to let people know. I tested this morning in beta and it's still the same as I outlined above.

Those quests starting at step 88 are available now and I do not believe are tied to the BfA starting quests.

Notice it jumps from the quest for "Battle of Lordaeron" to "A Dying World".

For now please only report errors for the guide viewer such as LUA errors or the arrow not working on the beta server. Bugs for the guides themselves like this will be addressed once they are on the live servers and we can see exactly what the final outcome will be for what quests are where.

Understood. I do think however that people will be a bit ticked off if they're doing quests that are optional and have nothing to do with the BfA story line (appropriate to leveling). Just trying to help people get ahead.

What I did was use the intro up to the point you can do the lorderon scenario since that gives a nice chunk of experience for your alts. obviously with your main you want to have all that shit finished so you can speed through on launch day to the newest and greatest

Yup, sounds good. My point was that when you start BfA after launch, providing the character you are on has already finished the *Battle for Lordaeron* scenario (or skipped it after one character has done it already), you will get the quest *A dying world* which will take you directly to step 107. You do not need to do steps 88-106 as they are not involved in the BfA quest line at all.

Intro and Quest Zone probably will get updated soon anyway,

I didn't mind the grind in silithus, and it's probably better to include it for "Fresh 110's" which will behave differently to those that completed the 3 different pre-patch quests/scenarios.

I'll try the intro again, on an alt that hasn't done the Legion pre-patch content to see how it lines up, but I had some trouble getting it to recognise or skip ahead to the stormwind extraction scenario that occurs after the silithus/questline for horde.

It was suggesting quests that seemed to be erroneous (one that didn't auto-accept/appear when entering Orgrimmar, Trust the King sic.)

I just ignored it because Day 1 issues are expected from Beta -> Live. /shrug.
