Error Logging in to my desktop app/Client

I get "Invalid username/password" when trying to log in to my desktop app

Changed password and logged in and out on website, works well. Still dont work in Zygor Client

uninstalled the desktop client and attempted to reinstall and get the following error: Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /client/releases/zygor_setup_win on this server.
Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

To clarify, Invalid Username/Password is an incorrect error message currently, it's just a coincidence that our data server is throwing a 403 error, the same as what the client expects for invalid username/password.
