I know the guide is there, but I can't spot it...

I finished the Night Elf Argent Tournament daily quests, then the guide moved on (besides the endless loop reported before).

Now the tournament wants me to fight for Gnomerggan, but I can't find the guide for that. I will probably have the same issue once I get to Stormwind and Ironforge... Where should I be looking in Zygor for these?

Murphy's Law strikes. Right after I posted, I found them. Dailies, Wrath of the Lich King, Icecrown, Crusader Unlock, select appropriate race quests.
