Mangled Tortollan Scroll in bag - auto sell grey items will pause GUI/lock client

If I have Mangled Tortollan Scroll item in my bag, the vendor auto-sell grey items will cause the WoW client GUI to pause/lock for about 5-10 seconds. It's a hard pause as I get a notice that the built-in voice chat server went offline then back online.

If I get rid of the Mangled Tortollan Scrolls, the auto-sell goes back to working as it should.
