Only detecting old skill levels?

I opened the gold guide portion, and checked out gathering. It suggested that I open the skills tab, so I did, but it now says I only have herbalism 300 while I have max bfa herbalism. How do I fix this?

Okay, from our end I can't find anything that shows a player which level they are. What exactly is it saying to lead you to believe you're only level 300 herbalism?
