Massive lag using search in the guide

There is a massive lag when using the search bar. The GUI freezes for about 3-5 seconds before typing is seen (ergo you can blind type).

Did you test that with all other addons disabled so only Zygor is running?

I did that first before posting (I knew that was the next logical step),
whole game freezes.

exact steps to reproduce:

1. go to recent or suggested
2. click textbox
3. start to type
4. complete game freezes before text appears (yes you can blind type)

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_retail_/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/_retail_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

no go. here are some basic specs.. should be more than enough to run

This rig play most any-game, and wow is not that demanding (depending on settings), and zygor doesn't seem to take up much.

I've been unable to reproduce the search lag you describe. As soon as I start typing it's showing results instantly with no lagging. Let's try seeing if simulating a "fresh" game install has any effect. Try this for a test.

1. Exit the game
2. Go to your WoW/_retail_/Cache folder and delete everything in there
3. Go to your WoW/_retail_ folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click the refresh button in the top right, and then click on the Install button
5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it

Cept #4 does not exists in version 1.0.1

I had tons of mods LOL, most havent been used since 2016ish (last played). Must have been some not working. So installed curse to monitor the ones that I am using and left the rest in the *.old folder(s)
