I actually just got one built and sent up.

    https://data.zygorguides.com/client/....2.12.AppImage

Remember to run a quick chmod +x to make it executable. I noticed that mine kind of sits "Checking for Updates", but it times out after a few seconds and should open up v4.2.12 of the client. Your classic paths might need to be configured as well.

        Hi
Things have been great, on my side so haven't had an excuse to bug you guys.
Is it possible to get a Guide Viewer app (like i did last time in an AppImage pack) that includes _classic_.?

Hey folks, your app image works very well in Ubuntu 20.04. Is there an option for getting the latest version that supports the burning crusade? Thanks!

I can look at getting an update for TBC out for Linux. No promises it will be quick, but I'll post back here with a link when I get around to getting an update up.

Here's a link to an updated client that has TBC support.

Just as a heads up, this is 100% untested on Linux. I built this client from a terminal and uploaded it all in one go, so let me know if you encounter any issues.

Thanks for that! Are the file permissions for that AppImage correct? I am getting blocked when trying to wget or download via the browser.

We are having some file server hiccups from a heavy load. Try again.

I was hoping to find this to get the TBC guides since it's not in the old AppImage and the Windows version under wine has file permission issues. The 4.3.17 updated AppImage works like a charm, no issues in updating the guide data.

Thanks to the team for providing the AppImage versions for Linux users! I do wonder though why it's not just a link in the downloads page and having users need to search for a forum post instead? There are some other WoW-related apps that provide the AppImage directly on their downloads pages along side such as WoWUp and raider.io. Granted the desktop Linux userbase is small, but I would think more Linux users that play WoW would be inclined to subscribe to Zygor if it was readily apparent they could easily get the client.

The new release IS working. Can't wait to see all of the latest on the next upgrade. Seeing 1 - 58 leveling guide so I know there is more coming! Thank you!

Is there an official client for Linux? I saw this thread earlier and decided to sign up but I couldn't find any instructions for a Linux client...

There is no official Linux client and the person who created this unofficial client is no longer with us so it is no longer being updated.
