Auto Quest Finder

did zygor at one time have a icon that you could click, and it would find the quest line that you are currently on? I am sure I saw that MANY MANY years ago, But now when I switch quests, zygor has no clue where I am at.

Or is that still there, and I am missing it?

What we had was the smart injection system that would find the step you should be on. That is still part of the guide viewer but it's an automatic thing so there's really nothing to click. It will get your quest history from the game server and mark any steps green/completed for quests you've done according to the server. Then if all objectives for a step are green that step will automatically advance to the next step. This in turn works to find out where you should be in the guide based on what quests you've completed already.

It was never able to search for a specific quest in the guides, change to that guide, and then show you where you should be. It has always just been a thing of skipping over completed stuff in the currently loaded guide.

Is there a way to find if a quest is in a guide, though? I'm doing some stuff that seems like it should be in a guide, but no idea where to find it. (Ex: on "An Explosive Entrance" right now)

You should be able to type the quest name into the search bar on the guide selection window to find out which guide it is in.

Correct, our guides do not cover every quest in the game, designed mostly around the Loremaster achievement. If you are unable to find it using keywords, you may want to search for the quest ID number and search the quest in the Guide Viewer options with the quest ID number.

Right, but for instance the quest chain for Zuldazar has quests with the word "Wanted" in the title of the quest, and that doesn't show up. Or, ex: The Alliance Arathi Highlands quest step 3 has two quests with the word "Wanted" in it, and those aren't showing.

Ahh, we just realized that you are searching by quest name and our search function does not support that. You need to search by quest ID. You can see more information on that in the manual. https://zygorguides.com/support/manual/search

Oooo, that's a good bit of info. I've been in the same boat as jmavity for an age; Quest ID - must remember this.
