mining: to 300

Following the Zygor instructions, I have mined Thorium in the Crater and have reached 295. There I have stopped in spite of a LOT of rich thorium veins mined. What is the trick to get to 300? Thanks

Hmm, I do see something about this in a WoWHead comment. People aren't sure if this is intended or a Blizzard bug. Seems like the only thing to do right now to hit 300 is to grab some Dark Iron Ore and smelt it to get to 300. Or for a free 5 points to finish it off you can use the Rearm, Reuse, Recycle quest (from Rinling) that is part of the Darkmoon Faire when the faire is running. The next Darkmoon Faire starts on the 2nd in a little over a week.
