Gear Advisor ignoring shields

For some reason the Gear Advisor is totally ignoring shields on my lvl 116 Prot Warrior.
Whether I have Auto-equip turned on or off. It just does not want to know.
Any ideas ?

No shield equipped and it doesn't suggest a shield in your bags? Have you tried clearing all declined items just to make sure they aren't on the declined list for some odd reason?

Cleared the ignore list - still the same.
Nothing equipped in off-hand and 3 shields in bags and no auto-equip or suggestion.
If I equip an inferior shield, it will not try to switch to the better one.
