POI stuck on step 2

Been using the POIs in Tanaan Jungle and when I click them the guide updates with the POI in a new tab (they used to be added to whatever guide was currently running, so that is new). With step 1 being a guide to the POI.
When I get the chest etc the guide moves on to step 2 with the guide going mad telling me to "Please select a point of interest from world map".
This is not very good. It should close that tab down. Not annoy me with a constant noise and flashing.

Try doing a full guide wipe/reset.

1. exit WoW
2. go to the WoW/_retail_/Interface/Addons folder and delete the ZygorGuidesViewer folder
3. go to the WoW/_retail_/WTF/Account/<your account name here>/SavedVariables folder and delete the Zygor files in there
4. run the desktop client and install a fresh copy of the guides
5. go back in game to test and let me know if that fixed it

Can you post a screen shot of the guide viewer with how it's opening the POI steps and the guide settings for Guide Viewer, POI, Notifications sections?

Will check with the dev team to see if they changed the POI step display or if this is some odd bug happening.

According to one of our devs this is how the POIs will work now. It's supposed to be similar to how the WQs work where it opens it's own guide tab to direct you there. Since it's acting like it's own guide now (instead of just a sticky step added to an existing guide) it needs some kind of step at the end of the guide to "finish" the guide off which is why you see the step to select a POI from the map.

The constant flashing of step 2 to inform you that you reached the end of the guide is something we'll look in to. It should behave like other guides where it does that just once and then just sits there displaying the step.

Our devs aren't getting the constant flashing and sounds after finishing a POI. Maybe there is some odd addon conflict. Have you tested with all other addons disabled to see if it flashes more than once after finishing a POI?

I've just tested it on my main and that one does not get the flashing issue. I'll do some more digging on my end.
I tried my alt profile on my main. Still works okay.
Switched to my alt and the flashing has stopped. I know the guide has been updated so I wonder if something was changed ?
