Field Photographer - doesn't account for MK II

The guide suggests I use S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera, but that item has been upgraded to S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera MkII.
The guide should suggest either both, or first look if the player has obtained the toy and suggest the MkII, otherwise suggest the first one

Also, when taking a selfie with MkII (starting with Moonglade), the guide doesn't progress, although it is marked as done in the Achievement.

Hmm, that is all still the same and matches up with the guide steps. It should have advanced to the next step. The sticky step that tells you to use the camera should stay there but the main step for which location should be changing. Can you post a pic of the guide viewer?

Here is the guide viewer. Strangely, if I close the guide and load it again, it loads the next step automatically, but if I return to the previous step it stays on it forever.

Just as a test try disabling all other addons to see if it is willing to advance to the next step when only Zygor is running.

With all other addons disabled:
When loading the guide, it jumped to the second step which I have also completed. I took a selfie and nothing happened. I manually marked as completed and it continued onto the next step - Orgrimmar. Taking a selfie again didn't progress the guide, but it is marked as completed in the Achievement.

I would like to point out again that I'm not using the guide-provided button for selfies, because the guide asks for an item that I cannot obtain since I have the MkII version of the selfie camera which I presume everyone else has.

The step advancing is based off of the achievement objective and has nothing to do with which camera is used or how you use the camera. Something is preventing the guide viewer from seeing the achievement objectives being completed. Try this for a test. After the test you'll be able to rename the Interface and WTF folders back to put all your addons and settings back in place.

1. Exit the game
2. Go to your WoW/_retail_/Cache folder and delete everything in there
3. Go to your WoW/_retail_ folder and rename the Interface and WTF folders to Interface.Old and WTF.Old
4. Run the Zygor desktop client, click check for updates at the top, and then click on the Install button
5. Go in game to test and then let me know if that fixed it

Ok, so after deleting everything and starting WoW again and loading the guide, the guide starts at step 1 which was already completed long ago, as I mentioned a few comments above.

And after taking the selfie with the MkII (again, not shown on the Zygor action bar, I have to manually look for it in my Toys and open it from there) it didn't progress the guide.

So I clicked on "Mark as Completed" for the steps that are actually completed and I proceeded with one step that is not completed. I followed the directions, took a selfie with MkII and it did not work, again.

I know for the S.E.L.F.I.E. quest I have played, you had to have certain imagery in the background. Have you tried changing angles while using the camera?

Yes. But the point is that it gets marked even the first time in the Achievements panel, but the guide stays on that step and doesn't continue. Even now, it doesn't display the 4 completed selfies as actually completed and wants me to do them again

Okay, I will create a ticket for a member of the team to look into this for you. For now, if the achievement is unlocked you should be able to click the right arrow next to the step number and proceed with the guide.
