Might be a stupid question - but I was able to download the addon and install it. That is everything I will need? Will I need to set anything up in gme or will it auto load and know where I am so I can start killing right away when I pick up the starter quest?

Most likely it'll auto-detect the proper starter guide for you, but if not, there's not that many guides, so just open the guide menu and select the starter. From there, each guide is setup to lead to the next one all the way to 60, so you should be good to go.

Hey so AWESOME< I install the classic guide and I see can see it in finder(MacOS) but when I click check for updates it no longer says installed in the Zygor app, it says N/A. I close and reopen the app, it installed, click check for updates and it then shows N/A again.

That must be something specific to the Mac client. Just tested on the Windows client and it doesn't do that. I'll make sure our client programmer sees this.

I can't reproduce this on my iMac Pro - it's all working fine for me.

We do, but you need an active Elite subscription in order to get those guides.

I got the alliance one that i paid for not the horde can i purchase without elite? or switch from alliance guide to horde?

No, sorry, the old vanilla guides do not work with Classic, and you can only get the new guides with Elite. We had to rebuild the addon, and made extensive changes to the guides.
