We will release the classic guides a little before the servers go live so that you'll be able to have them installed before logging into the game. It will be part of the Elite subscription so if you have an active subscription then you will be all set.

Thanks for that! It is essential after having played for 4-5 days last weekend. Will we have to manually install it inside the wow classic folder? I know with other classic addons have had to manually unpack them like we had to originally.

My Classic folder is within my World of Warcraft folder, as that is where blizzard installed it (as well as the Beta one).

You will be able to use the desktop client to install it just like with the BfA guides. We'll release an update to the client that will add the classic guides as another product that can be installed.

Is the Classic guide built off of any other guide? Is the guide built for speed or for completionists to knock out all quests? I am looking for a 1-60 speedrun guide, so it's definitely important to know what I should be expecting from Zygor prior to launch. Thank you!

The classic guides are based on our old guides for BC and WotLK since the quests were still all pretty much the same back then. The guides are designed to help you level efficiently and quickly with solo questing when compared to no guides at all and having to alt-tab to websites to try to figure out what to do next.

Weren't XP values different in those expansions? Are we supposed to expect a lot of grinding even with the guides?

As said, they were used as a basis for the classic guides. That doesn't mean that it's been unchanged. We used the old guides to give us a basic leveling path and then went into the beta to make any changes that were needed so they would work properly for the classic servers.

Do we have a closer time estimate for classic addon release?
Please keep in mind that we need to restart our clients for the addon to be recognized. Many players would like to jump the login-queue by being online many hours ahead of time. It would be a shame if we couldn't start with zygor from level 1. Because once you disconnect on start the queue times will be horrible

Thanks! It appears that I have - successfully - ignored that big countdown when browsing the site earlier.
Five Hours ahead of launch should be enough for the majority of players. To me that's pretty much also when my alarm rings me outta bed. So perfect timing to me.
