Unable to receive quest in Zangamarsh

Hi,
I am following the Outland Loremaster and came across a quest that I cannot do (not available) as the guide has taken me past friendly with the Sporregor. It is the Goldcap mushroom part. Does this mean I will not be able to complete Loremaster of Outland?

It is hard to say. I find some posts that don't mention it at all in relation to doing loremaster (just talk about Fhwoor Smash! and Now That We're Still Friends) and there is another post that says it's needed. The only thing I can suggest is to just keep going with the other quests there to see if it completes the "A Trip With the Sporelings" objective for the "Mysteries of the Marsh" achievement (loremaster for the zone).

It would appear that it doesn't matter, apart from Rep gain, as I completed "A Trip With the Sporelings" and later gained "Mysteries of the Marsh" achievement (loremaster for the zone).

Good to know that it's not required for Loremaster if someone gets up above the rep level for it.
